Syrian women live special experience and face major challenges. In addition to the traditional difficulties women face in Arab societies like distinction between them and men, and customs and traditions, Syrian women live in harsh conditions of war. In these difficult situations and the serious challenges faced by Syrian women, Sam implements vocational training programs for women, especially widows, in order to help them have their own source of living. Sam also works on women’s political empowerment programs to help them take a place in decision-making positions at the local and national levels.
