This morning, Monday 10-02-2020, three field teams of Sam Development Organization started a livestock vaccination campaign in Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The project aims to improve the veterinary assistance for livestock in the region, due to the necessary needs.
Sam organization has been active in field work since day one, dividing the teams into three groups, each consisting of two veterinarians and four assistants and field employees.
Despite the unprecedented drop in temperatures in Deir Ezzor countryside which reached -4°C, Sam teams insisted on starting the project at the early hours of the morning, and the project in its first day was warmly welcomed by the residents and livestock breeders.
In addition, dozens of breeders called on Sam to carry out other projects for the benefit of the region as a whole, especially in securing fodder, that contributes to the promotion of livestock, after vaccines are given to livestock, where a large part of breeders do not have the financial capacity to buy the fodder necessary to their livestock.
